Why invest in the Algarve?

The climate is one of the most healthy and pleasant ones in the whole world. Winter is never too cold, summer rarely too hot. And with 3.000 hours of sunshine per year the sky is nearly always deep blue.

The area is also famous for its spectacular coast with its bizarre rocks and golden beaches. The countryside is also very attractive. Here, you’ll find vineyards, plantations with orange and lemon trees, countless  almond, olive, fig and carob trees. During springtime, the landscape is turning into a sea of blossoms.

But technical progress has also reached these areas. The telecommunication system is excellent, the international airports of Faro and Lisbon are close, and you’ll find satellite TV, mobile phones, fax machines and the Internet. You can be as globally connected as you wish. According to a study carried out in 1998 by the Bertelsmann Foundation which took into account criteria such as standard rates and employment market, finance and economy, Portugal was listed in sixth place of all countries worldwide.
